Rawalakot, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, October 26, 2023, the inaugural Divisional Consultative Workshop was held at the District Complex Rawalakot in Azad Jammu & Kashmir. This workshop marked a significant step in the regional policy formulation process, bringing together key officials and stakeholders from the districts of Poonch, Bagh, and Haveli.
The workshop featured the notable presence of Mr. Sardar Sohail Azam, Commissioner of Poonch Division, who played a crucial role in the discussions, lending his practical insights to the policy development process. The event also saw participation from Mr. Sardar Shahzaib, a prominent businessman; Mr. Sardar Imran, a respected community influencer; and Gohar Ali, Manager of Solid Waste Management (SWM) from WASS Peshawar. Additionally, Mr. Syed Yasir Ai Gilani, the Superintending Engineer from the Public Health Engineering Department, contributed his technical expertise to the discussions.
This consultative workshop aimed to address regional issues and gather input from a diverse range of perspectives. It focused on identifying key challenges and opportunities in public health, sanitation, and infrastructure development.
